SAN BERNARDINO – A 53-year-old Victorville woman died while traveling as a passenger on the 210 freeway on Saturday, Sheriff-Coroner officials said.
At around 2:35 a.m. Rhonda Casey was in a 2004 Toyota Corolla as it traveled westbound on the 210 freeway just east Del Rosa Avenue in the City of San Bernardino.
The Toyota was rear-ended by a vehicle, causing it to overturn. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and pronounced Casey dead.
Other details surrounding the collision are unknown at this time. Information will be updated when it becomes available.
The cause of the collision remains under investigation by the California Highway Patrol.
