A 55-year-old Pioneertown man was arrested for an illegal sexual relationship with a 14-year-old child.
Authorities from the Morongo Basin Station received the report of an over year long sexual relationship between the man and teen. Jonathan Linn, an Assistant Coach, for the Yucca Valley High School Football team and according to authorities, was highly involved in community events; including Pioneertown Wild West shows, and a variety of country western dance groups.
As a result of the investigation, on January 14, 2020, Linn was booked into jail for ape, lewd and lascivious acts with a child, and false imprisonment. He is being held at the West Valley Detention Center.
Investigators believe there may be additional victims due to the suspects involvement in community events and are releasing his booking photo.
