HEMET, Calif. – Authorities arrested a 22-year-old Beaumont man for a stabbing that took a life on Friday.
At around 9:20 p.m., police and fire personnel were dispatched to the 200 block of N. Western Avenue for the report of a stabbing. When they arrived they found a 23-year-old male victim, identified as Wilver Garcia. Emergency medical personnel rushed him to the hospital, where despite lifesaving efforts, he died as a result of his injuries.
The investigation led to the arrest of Mark Anthony Acevedo for murder. He is being held in lieu of $1 million bail. No motive or other information are being released at this time.
