RIALTO, Ca. – A Rialto man was arrested for downloading and distributing child pornography over the internet.
The Fontana Police Department’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force began an investigation into the allegations against 34-year-old Matthew Sanchez. On September 24, 2019, a search warrant was served at Sanchez’ home located in the 500 block of E. Scott Street in the City of Rialto.
Sanchez was detained without incident. Evidence related to the downloading and distribution of the child pornography were found on electronic storage devices in his home. He was booked into the West Valley Detention Center for possession and distribution of child pornography. He is scheduled to appear at the Rancho Cucamonga Superior on September 26, 2019. Meanwhile, he is being held in lieu of $100,000.
