TWIN PEAKS – Three Victor Valley area residents were arrested for identity theft on Saturday after a concerned citizen reported a suspicious vehicle in the 600 block of Acacia Drive in the City of Crestline. Deputies from the Twin Peaks stations responded to the call where the reporting party told them one of the subjects as wearing a ski mask and standing next to a green Nissan Sentra.
Soon after deputies arrived and made contact with 25-year-old Adelanto resident, Aidan Padilla, 23-year-old Hesperia resident, Samantha Pikop, and 22-year-old Victorville resident, Alexandra Roland. Deputies learned that Pikop had several active warrants for her arrest and she was taken into custody.
During a search of the vehicle deputies located checkbooks in names other than those who were in the vehicle. Also located were tax returns and other paperwork that had social security numbers on them. Mail belonging to the names on the tax returns and other paperwork was also located in the vehicle. The owners of the mail and checkbooks verified that the three occupants of the vehicle were not permitted to have the located items.
All three were taken into custody, Pikop and Padilla for the possession of stolen property and identity theft and Roland was charged with Possession of a controlled substance for a syringe with methamphetamine found in her possession.
Roland was cited and released, while Padilla was booked into the Central Detention Center and Pikop was booked into the West Valley Detention Center.
Both Pikop and Padilla are believed to be linked to other burglaries in the mountain and High Desert communities. If you have further information regarding this case or additional crimes connected to Roland, Padilla and Pikop, please contact the Twin Peaks Station at (909) 336-0600 or We Tip 1-800-78-CRIME.
