YUCAIPA – Two students at Yucaipa High School were found to be in possession of a pellet gun on the school campus Wednesday morning. At around 11:00 a.m. the 15 and 17-year-old male students were involved in a verbal altercation.
The altercation led to an investigation, which uncovered an inoperable pellet gun in the possession of one of the students.
The school staff immediately called authorities, who investigated further into the incident. The two students were cited and released to their parents. The Juvenile District Attorney’s office has received the investigation information and will decide what, if any, charges should be filed against the students.
