A sexually violent predator who had been tentatively ordered to reside in San Bernardino County will be headed elsewhere, officials said.
Ross Leo Wollschlager, who has no ties to San Bernardino County terrorized Ventura County entering homes to rape his victims as they slept in their own bed. Two of his known victims were a 19-year-old woman and a 10-year-old. Although Wollschlager served his time, mental health experts indicated that he remained a danger to society.
Following the release of the news by the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s office that he may have been headed to San Bernardino County over 1500 letters of opposition to his move were received. At a hearing on Thursday, November 7, 2019, the judge changed his mind.
